Hi to people who read my blog :)

I figured something out-instead of wasting money typing my blog online, I type it offline instead, then post it when i go online..

Well, I'm back from Pulau Redang! Went with some coursemates from uni. 8 of us in all, 5 gals and 3 guys. Stayed in Redang Holiday, a 1-room chalet with 1 toilet and 4 double beds. Wait, i forgot the coolest thing - our room had the sea view!! That was awesome :) the sea on the left and the beach on the right.

The main activites there was snorkeling. We went to the Marine Park on Monday (14/6) and 2 other places on Tuesday, which were the House Reef and, uh.. i can't remember what the other one was. But snorkeling was cool, saw the fishes and corals. The guides were very helpful by showing us around the areas, and pointing out stuff that we might have missed. It was easy to identify them because they were wearing a casual uniform. So whenever we went snorkeling we would gather around a guide and he would take us out to the sea :) to see the fishies and corals.

We rented a life-jacket and snorkeling mask for RM10 each. Entrance fee to the Marine Park was RM5, so we paid RM25 all in all. Meals were served at a common dining area. The food was simple - mostly we had buffet style economy rice. One night we had steam boat for dinner, that was cool..

We spent the 1st night at the beach, just lying on the deck chairs, looking at the stars..after exploring the whole stretch of the beach, that is. It consisted of other resorts actually. I don't like the way we spent the 2nd night. We went to a KARAOKE.. actually only 2 of them wanted to go, so we had to go to give face, but honestly I think it was a real waste of time. Maybe it was because it mostly had Chinese songs only, therefore, me being English-ed and not very familiar with Chinese stuff, maybe you can understand how i felt. But it wasn't that bad because the songs they played were quite popular to the extent that i've actually heard them before. So i could tap and bop and hum, but not sing the actual lyrics. After that, we wanted to see the sun rise, but it was quite cloudy, so we only managed to see the sky brightening. Oh well..

Well, the scenery was quite pretty.. and there's something about the waves and the sound of the ocean that I find very soothing and relaxing. I really enjoyed that part of Redang..that would be the reason I'll visit the next beach resort.

Well, that's all for this time's posting..
