spectrum U 5th season recording 13-2-2006

hey there. here's a post to enlighten you guys about what this whole recording thing's about.

see, there's this local programme aired on RTM1 (yes, i know no-one watches it, not even myself!). anyway, this programme's called spectrum U (U for university i guess), and it collaborates with all the local public U's, where the Unit Kebudayaan of each U will come up with something to be featured on the show, for example-dances, singing, orchestra etc. Besides that, the programme will feature courses that are available in that U, so on and so forth.

So basically this time round, Spectrum U's now recording it's 5th season. So we-the UTM orchestra, and dance troupe and singers were in KL (Filem Negara) at the mentioned date, to record our slot, which will be aired in May I think, one Saturday at about 3 or 4pm, yes, on RTM1. haha, so if you happen to remember, then go ahead and check it out.

to give you a brief wrap-up about our recording- we were supposed to record 3 songs, but ended up doing 2, because the local artist that was supposed to appear for one more song was sick, so that's that. the other 2 songs- one's a joget, and one more a Siti Nurhaliza one. well, the things featured on the programme lean more to BM and malay cultural stuff, so if you're looking for english and more modern things, er.. look elsewhere, haha :)
